Why Men Flock To Islam

“If Christianity required women to walk behind their husbands and wear burquas, then we’d have a church full of men.

No, that's not the real answer as to why. That was an answer by a woman to a rhetorical question posed by David Murrow of Church for Men.

A comment over at the Internet Monk, pointed us to an article by David Murrow in the March 2007 newsletter of Church for Men entitled, Why Men Flock To Islam. According to David DeMeo, professor of Middle Eastern and Arabic studies at Harvard, the answer can be sumed up as: Islam is a religion that delivers results for men. Too often, Christianity does not.
