Arabic Alphabet for Christians

The 2-3 folks searching for "arabic alphabet for christians" while be pleased to discover that the arabic alphabet for Christians is the same as the arabic alphabet for non-Christians and Muslims.

We suspect that those seeking "arabic alphabet for christians" were searching for the arabic alphabet being taught by a Christian, as most of the online tutorials are by Muslims for Muslim chldren and converts. While there are millions of arabic speaking Christians, it seems few have created resources for other Christians. For those in major cities, you might consider searching for a nearby Coptic or Chaldean Catholic church that offers an arabic class. We studied Greek at a nearby Greek Orthodox church and plan to study Hebrew at a nearby synagogue.

For those that don't object to learning from a Muslim, we like the Learn Arabic in English series taught by a Texas convert to Islam. His equating the dot above the arabic letter "noon" as being the sun at high noon stuck, as did many of his other examples.



There's a growing need for more Christians to learn the Arabic alphabet, and more, in order to evanglize among the arabic-speaking population.
